Villager News > Vice-Admiral Edward L. Moore Jr., US Navy Retired, Receives Liftetime Achievement Award

The Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s is pleased to learn that " 2014 Villager Award Recipient"- Vice-Admiral Edward L. Moore Jr,, US Navy retired, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Riverside Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi 2015 Annual Scholarship Black & White Ball. He not only received this local chapter award, but the award has been established in his name. Admiral Moore later stated: "To say that I am completely overwhelmed by this singular honor falls far short of my true deepest emotions. I almost have no words. I am deeply humbled and re-dedicate myself to continued positive growth in our community, especially the development of our young men and women." We are pleased whenever we see those persons who have so unselfishly "Lifted as we Climb" be recognized and applauded for their work. This means so much to so many as we all come to know each other a part of each other's Village! Our applause and congratulations to Edward. Our applause and congratuations to the Riverside Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi. Our applause and congratulations to all who have joined in this national movement towards "Lifting as we Climb" and making a difference in the lives of others... Bravo! We are in your village too!

"Our solutions are bigger than any one profession or job. We must reclaim our interconnections and learn to freely share information with each other, and to support the success of a new generation. We must create connections and collaborations. Our goal must be to move this system in the direction of caring what happens to persons who need it the most, and we must take our place in that effort. We will find a way to make a difference!" logo
